The present invention relates to means for the treatment of tumors, in particular malignant solid tumors, using adenovirus derived material and IL-3, whereby the adenovirus preferably encodes IL-3 activity, which preferably is given systematically to a mammal, optionally in an isolated perfusion setting. In preferred embodiments, IL-3 activity is combined with other cytotoxic activity.
