Use of adamantane derivatives of the formula (see formula I) in which R1 and R2 - are identical or different and can be hydrogen or straight-chained or branched alkyl groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or - together with the nitrogen atom can represent a heterocyclic group having 5 or 6 ring atoms, in which R3 and R4 are identical or different and can be hydrogen, straight-chained or branched alkyl groups having between 1 and 6 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl groups having 5 or 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, and in which R5 is hydrogen or a straight-chained or branched alkyl group having between 1 and 6 carbon atoms for treating diseases of the inner ear.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation de dérivés d'adamantane de la formule (I), pour le traitement de maladies de l'oreille interne. Dans ladite formule (I): R1 et R2 sont identiques ou différents et peuvent représenter hydrogène ou des groupes alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, possédant 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, ou bien représentent avec l'atome d'azote un groupe hétérocyclique possédant 5 à 6 atomes de cycle; R3 et R4 sont identiques ou différents et peuvent représenter hydrogène, des groupes alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée possédant 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, des groupes cycloalkyles possédant 5 à 6 atomes de carbone ou un groupe phényle; et R5 représente hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, possédant 1 à 6 atomes de carbone.
