Disclosed is a broadcast receiver for reception of non-real time service and a method for processing a service transmitted in non-real time. The non-real time service processing method comprises the steps of: receiving and processing a signaling information table containing connection information for a non--real time service; receiving non-real time data on the basis of the signaling information table, and storing the received data in a storage medium; extracting information on types of non-real time service from the signaling information table; and processing the non-real time service on the basis of the extracted information.
