ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An unloading kit is used on a boat trailer of the type having a cradle for supporting a boat, winch at the leading end of the trailer and element woundon the winch for connection to the above boat to pull the boat into the cradle. The unloading kit includes a reversing roller mounted on the trailer rearwardly of the winch and below the cradle so that a tension element, preferably a strap, can be taken from the winch, around the reversing element back to the bow of the boat. When the winch is wound in, the boat is drawn off of the cradle for launching purposes.
