A process for producing a substance characterized by comprising culturing animal cells capable of producing the substance in a medium containing a ubiquinone such as Q10, thus forming and accumulating the substance in the medium, and then collecting the substance from the medium; and a process for improving the productivity of a substance characterized by comprising culturing animal cells capable of producing the substance in a medium containing a ubiquinone.

Ce procédé de production d'une substance se caractérise par le fait qu'il consiste à cultiver des cellules animales capables de produire cette substance dans un milieu contenant une ubiquinone, Q10 notamment, à former alors la substance dans le milieu et à l'accumuler, puis à la recueillir dans ce milieu. L'invention a également trait à un procédé permettant d'augmenter la productivité d'une substance et se caractérisant par le fait qu'il consiste à cultiver des cellules animales capables de produire cette substance dans un milieu contenant une ubiquinone.
