EMULSIFIED COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An emulsified composition comprising: (A) a lipid soluble drug and a lipid; (B) a sugar and/or a sugar alcohol; (C) water;. (D) a water soluble nonionic surfactant having a molecular weight of 1000 or more, or a phospholipid and a water soluble nonionic surfactant having a molecular weight of 1000 or more; where (A)/(D) is 0.5 to 5 (weight ratio), and the emulsified particles in the composition have an average particle size of 0.010 to 0.070 µm. The composition is especially useful as a preparation for parenteral administration.
