A method of tissue augmentation in mammals comprising implanting or injecting into the tissue of a mammal elastic material derived from solar elastosis or other sun-damaged sites in humans is disclosed. The method further comprises injecting into the tissue of a mammal, alone, or in combination with the solar elastosis, at least one filler material, such as fibrillin, recombinant fibrillin, fibulin, and recombinant fibulin. A method of treating various skin conditions, such as wrinkles, photoaging, acne scarring, scars, and HIV- associated lipoatrophy, by injecting into the tissue elastic material derived from solar elastosis and/or filler material is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'augmentation tissulaire chez des mammifères qui consiste à implanter ou à injecter dans les tissus d'un mammifère une matière élastique dérivée d'un site d'élastose solaire ou d'autres sites abîmés par le soleil. Le procédé de l'invention consiste en outre à injecter dans les tissus d'un mammifère au moins une matière de remplissage de type fibrilline, fibrilline de recombinaison, fibuline, et fibuline de recombinaison ; seule ou en combinaison avec l'élastose solaire. L'invention concerne également un procédé de traitement de divers états cutanés, de type rides, photovieillissement, cicatrices d'acné, cicatrices, et lipoatrophie associée au virus VIH, par injection dans les tissus d'une matière élastique dérivée d'un site d'élastose solaire et/ou d'une matière de remplissage.
