A method and apparatus for reducing water in gas producing well. A first step involves inverting a submersible pump having an electric drive motor forming a pump assembly such that the electric drive motor is positioned above the submersible pump. A second step involves lowering the pump assembly into a casing of a gas producing well until a selected production zone is reached. A third step involves operating the submersible pump in an inverted orientation to inject excess water within the casing in the selected production zone into a disposal zone. The apparatus relates to a pump assembly that includes a submersible pump in an inverted orientation and an electric drive motor above the submersible pump in an upright orientation.

Cette invention concerne une méthode et un appareil d'extraction d'eau dans un puits de gaz.
