A shoe or outsole (1) made of resilient material has a sole surface provided with protruding elements (7, 23) both on its inner side (5) that faces the insole and on its outer or bottom side (21) away from the insole, and a rim (19) which surrounds the sole surface. The elements (7) that protrude towards the insole form a substantially rectangular grid (7). The present invention is characterised in that the protruding elements (23) on the bottom side (21) are interrupted strips (23) which extend substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction or the longitudinal axis A of the sole. At least one longitudinal rib (27, 29) parallel to the outer contour of the sole is provided on the sole bottom side (21) at least along the outer side (25) of the sole (1). The distance between the longitudinal rib and the outer contour of the sole is distinctly smaller than half the width of the sole in the heel area (9). A sickle-shaped reinforcement zone (17) which fills the grid is provided between the area (11) of the ball of the foot and the heel area (9), extending from the sole inner side (13) in the direction of the longitudinal axis A.
Cette semelle de chaussure ou semelle extérieure (1) en un matériau souple comprend une surface pourvue aussi bien sur sa face intérieure (5) face à la semelle intérieure que sur sa face extérieure ou inférieure (21) opposée à la semelle intérieure des éléments saillants (7, 23) et un rebord (19) qui entoure la surface de la semelle. Les éléments saillants (7) en direction de la semelle intérieure forment une grille sensiblement rectangulaire (7). L'invention se caractérise en ce que les éléments saillants (23) sur la face inférieure (21) sont des moulures interrompues (23) sensiblement transversales à la longueur ou à l'axe longitudinal A de la semelle. Au moins une côte longitudinale (27, 29) parallèle au contour extérieur de la semelle se situe sur la face inférieure (21) de la semelle, au moins le long du côté extérieur (25) de la semelle (1). La distance entre la côte longitudinale (27, 29) et le contour extérieur de la semelle est sensiblement inférieure à la moitié de la largeur de la semelle dans la zone du talon (9). Une zone de renforcement (17) en forme de croissant remplit la grille entre la partie antérieure (11) et la zone du talon (9) et s'étend du côté intérieur (13) de la semelle vers l'axe longitudinal A.
