The present invention relates to a switch system for personal rapid transmit which offers passengers a non-stop direct origin to destination in a small on-board unit. The switching device is installed at a certain area in a network shape including main path and diverging path and merging path therefrom. The switch system for personal rapid transit comprises guideway (10) which includes rails necessary to travelling in its inside; small vehicles (30) which automatically travel on the guideway, including a vehicle chassis (40) equipped with guidance wheels which are inserted into the inside vacancy of the guideway; and electromagnetic switch means (70), arranged at front and rear of the vehicle chassis, which performs the switching operation so that it provides attraction force to the rail when the vehicle travels on a straight main path, and that it controls the vehicle to travel into the preset direction by making a close contact with the rail when the vehicle goes into the switch section. As a result, the present invention provides, for switching at short headways of one half second without moving parts on the guideway thereby allowing a high volumn of vehicles to be operated, a swift vehicle's travel even in the switch section of the guideway thereby offering passengers rapid transit to destination.

Ce système d'aiguillage pour transports rapides personnalisés comporte une voie de guidage (10) pourvue intérieurement des rails nécessaires à la circulation; des véhicules de faible taille (30) circulant automatiquement sur la voie de guidage et comportant un châssis (40) équipé de roues de direction engagées dans la cavité intérieure de la voie de guidage; et des dispositifs électromagnétiques d'aiguillage (70) montés à l'avant et à l'arrière du châssis du véhicule et destinés à effectuer l'opération d'aiguillage de manière qu'ils subissent la force d'attraction du rail lorsque le véhicule se déplace sur une voie linéaire principale, et qu'ils viennent se serrer contre le rail pour que le véhicule suive le parcours prédéterminé lorsqu'il pénètre dans la zone d'aiguillage. Par conséquent, l'aiguillage des véhicules peut se faire à des intervalles d'une demi-seconde sans que la voie de guidage ne soit pourvue de pièces mobiles, ce qui permet une circulation dense et rapide de véhicules même dans la zone d'aiguillage de la voie de guidage, et, de ce fait, un transport rapide des passagers vers leurs destinations.
