A method of determining status of a disease or condition, the method comprises providing a first fluid sample from outside of a brain tissue, the first fluid sample comprises a first circulating phagocyte; detecting a level of a biomarker associated with the neurological condition in the first sample; comparing the level of the biomarker in the first sample with a level of the biomarker in a second sample, the second sample being either a control sample or a second fluid sample from outside of a brain tissue, the second fluid sample comprising a second circulating phagocyte, the second fluid sample being collected prior to the first fluid sample.
Linvention concerne un procédé de détermination de létat dune maladie ou dune pathologie, le procédé comportant lutilisation dun premier échantillon de fluide provenant de lextérieur d'un tissu cérébral, ledit échantillon comportant un premier phagocyte en circulation; la détection dun taux de biomarqueur associé à la pathologie neurologique dans le premier échantillon, et la comparaison du taux du biomarqueur dans le premier échantillon avec un taux du biomarqueur dans un second échantillon, le second échantillon étant soit un échantillon témoin, soit un second échantillon de fluide provenant de lextérieur dun tissu cérébral, le second échantillon de fluide comportant un second phagocyte en circulation et étant prélevé avant le premier échantillon de fluide.
