ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An intermediate electrical component for an electrical connector has a body portion and a cap portion interfitted therewith. A plurality of terminal elements having stranded conductors connected to them are positioned in the body portion and substantially enclosed by the cap portion to prevent strays from escaping from the body portion and the cap portion.
