Disclose is a novel pyrrole derivative having, as substituents, a ureido group, an aminocarbonyl group and a bicyclic group which may have a substituent, or a salt of the derivative. A compound represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof has an inhibitory activity on the production of interleukin-6, and is therefore useful as a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for a disease associated with interleukin-6, ocular inflammatory diseases and the like. In the formula, R1 represents a halogen atom, a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group which may have a substituent, a formyl group, or a lower alkylcarbonyl group which may have a substituent, R2 represents a bicyclic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent or a bicyclic heterocyclic group which may have a substituent, R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group which may have a substituent, an aryl group which may have a substituent, or an acyl group. La présente invention concerne un nouveau dérivé de pyrrole ayant, en tant que substituants, un groupe uréide, un groupe aminocarbonyle et un groupe bicyclique qui peut avoir un substituant, ou un sel du dérivé. Un composé représenté par la formule générale (1) ou un sel de celui-ci a une activité inhibitrice sur la production dinterleukine 6, et est donc utile en tant quagent prophylactique ou thérapeutique pour des maladies associées à linterleukine 6, des maladies ophtalmiques inflammatoires et similaire. Dans la formule, R1 représente un atome dhalogène, un atome dhydrogène, un groupe alkyle inférieur qui peut avoir un substituant, un groupe formyle, ou un groupe (alkyle inférieur)carbonyle qui peut avoir un substituant; R2 représente un groupe hydrocarboné bicyclique qui peut avoir un substituant, ou un groupe hétérocyclique bicyclique qui peut avoir un substituant; et R3 représente un atome dhydrogène, un groupe alkyle inférieur qui peut avoir un substituant, un groupe aryle qui peut avoir un substituant, ou un groupe acyle.
