The invention is based on the use of alpha-1 antitrypsin for the preparation of medicaments for the treatment of fibromyalgia, comprising the preparation of therapeutic con- centrates of alpha-1 antitrypsin, in any form of administration tolerated by humans, the alpha-1 antitrypsin being obtained by purification of human plasma or being produced by recombinant or transgenic technology, with doses equal to or greater than 6 mg of alpha-1 antitrypsin per kg of body weight for a variable period of time.

L'invention porte sur l'utilisation d'alpha-1 antitrypsine dans la préparation de médicaments destinés au traitement de la fibromyalgie, comprenant la préparation de concentrés d'alpha-1 antitrypsine ayant un effet thérapeutique administrés par une voie tolérée par l'humain pendant une période variable, l'alpha-1 antitrypsine étant obtenue par purification de plasma humain ou produite par une technique de l'ADN recombinant ou une technique transgénique, et les doses étant égales ou supérieures à 6 mg d'alpha-1 antitrypsine par kg de poids corporel.
