The present inventation is directed to a method and aparatus for monitoring function, diagnosing and prognosing the disadaptive and pathologycal reactions of the differ organs and systems of patients, include imminent threatening life of the acute cardio- vascular afflections using week malfunctional of cardio-vascular control system of a patient's heart rate flictuation power spectra and heart rate variability analisys. The invention consist of a method and aparatus for pulse wave registration, computer-implimented technology of interralationship between heart rate variability and the frequency spectre heart rate analisys. The method comprise measurement pulse wave signals of the subject during relax time, during functional probs and after readaptation times. In general, the method comprises the steps of: a - collecting a first RR-interval data set from subject during relaxation, b - during of mental prob, c - throu 5 min after mental prob , d - during of hipocapnia prob ( hiperventilation ), and e after 5 min after breathing prob. A computer-implimented technique, including database processing, is used to identify at risk congestive in patients with different adaptive and disadaptive processes, varias stage of the acute and chronical deseases by functional and pathologycal fluctuation of the heart rate of patients. Separation and comparing the fluctuation between all 5 probs. Particulary indicative stress or instability of activity organs and tissues using changes of the differ parametrs of cardio-vascular system are: 1 -increas or decreas of the amplitude and/or frequency spectral heart rate trace, parametrs of the variability heart rate more or less then 25-30% from normal diapasone (ranges): 2 - ratio of area under a heart rate power spectrum peak and an frequency between about 0.023 - 0.08 Hz, to the area under a peak in the heart rate fluctuation power spectrum centered rate about 0.09 and 0.12 Hz, between last one and of the hight frequency spectral diapasone 0.13 - 0.45 Hz. 3. Transgression of the interralation between differ parametrs of the heart rate variability and of the data frequency spectr heart rate analisys.
