ABSTRACT A gasket 16A comprising a ring of resilient, flexible material having generally opposed upper 25 and lower 26 sealing surfaces interconnected by connecting means 28 in a manner whereby a volume 27 is defined between the upper and lower sealing surfaces into which the surfaces can resiliently collapse when the surfaces are urged towards each other and whereby internal pressure can maintain the seal when the sealing faces against which said surfaces seal are retracted from each other. In a particular form the gasket 16A is utilised as a filler valve gasket for use in sealing a connection between a dispensing nozzle and a filler valve for LPG equipment and the like.
