The invention concerns a crusher consisting of a ring (10) with horizontal axis, means for driving the ring in rotation about its axis, at least one roller (16) whereof the axis is parallel to that of the ring and which is placed inside the latter so as to roll on its internal surface and elastic means (30) pressing the roller on the ring, the roller being supported at its ends by two arms (22) fixed on the crusher frame so as to pivot about an axis parallel to the ring axis. In order to limit the canting of the roller while limiting the crushing pressure and, thereby the mechanical stresses to acceptable values, the arms (22) are mutually linked by a torque shaft (24) parallel to the rotation axis of the arms.

L'invention a pour objet un broyeur constitué par un anneau (10) à axe horizontal, des moyens pour entraîner l'anneau en rotation autour de son axe, au moins un rouleau (16) dont l'axe est parallèle à celui de l'anneau et qui est placé à l'intérieur de ce dernier de façon à pouvoir rouler sur sa surface intérieure et des moyens élastiques (30) pour presser le rouleau sur l'anneau, le rouleau étant supporté à ses extrémités par deux bras (22) montés sur le bâti du broyeur de façon à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un axe parallèle à l'axe de l'anneau. Pour limiter la mise en biais du rouleau tout en limitant les pressions de broyage et, par conséquent les contraintes mécaniques à des valeurs acceptables, les bras (22) sont reliés l'un à l'autre par un arbre de torsion (24) parallèle à l'axe de rotation du bras.
