The network presentation system includes a database on a network server, the database being administered and controlled by an administration software module. The administration module creates individual images from text and/or visual material and then organizes a series of such images into a presentation which is stored in the database. The presentation is displayed on the screens of the individual PCs in the network by the action of a messenger software module present in each PC, following passage of a selected amount of time during which the PC is on but is not used. The messenger module maintains control over the presentation of the images in the particular presentation sequence following interruptions of actual use by the PC. A PC user has the capability of returning the PC to its conventional use, but also has the capability of controlling the presentation to an extent, or even changing to an entirely different presentation among the several which may be available to that specific user.
L'invention porte sur un système de présentation sur réseau comprenant une base de données sur un serveur de réseau, la base de données étant gérée et commandée par un module logiciel de gestion. Le module de gestion crée des images individuelles à partir de texte et/ou de matériaux visuels, puis organise une série d'images pour créer une présentation stockée dasn la base de données. La présentation apparaît sur les écrans des PC connectés sur réseau par l'intermédiaire d'un module logiciel messager contenu dans chaque PC, après un laps de temps prédéterminé au cours duquel le PC est connecté mais n'est pas utilisé. Le module messager continue de commander la présentation des images au cours de la séquence de présentation qui suit une interruption d'utilisation du PC. L'utilisateur du PC peut redonner à l'ordinateur son mode d'utilisation classique, ou, dans une certaine mesure, commander la présentation, ou même choisir une présentation complètement différente parmi celles qui sont à sa disposition.
