The present invention provides a novel process for preparing 1-methoxymethyl- 5,5-diphenylbarbituric acid. In particular, the present invention provides a process for preparing 1-methoxymethyl-5,5-diphenylbarbituric acid by reacting 1,3-bis(methoxymethyl)-5,5-diphenylbarbituric acid with a Lewis acid to remove one methoxymethyl group from 1,3-bis(methoxymethyl)-5,5-diphenylbarbituric acid.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé de préparation d'acide 1-méthoxyméthyl-5,5-diphénylbarbiturique. Cette invention concerne en particulier un procédé de préparation d'acide 1-méthoxyméthyl-5,5-diphénylbarbiturique consistant à faire réagir un acide 1,3-bis(méthoxyméthyl)-5,5-diphénylbarbiturique avec un acide de Lewis et à supprimer un groupe méthoxyméthyl de l'acide 1,3-bis(méthoxyméthyl)-5,5-diphénylbarbiturique.
