A composition, comprising (a) a strained cycloolefin, (b) a filler, and (c) 0.01-10.0 % by weight, based on the sum of components (a) + (b), of a copolymer selected from the group consisting of core/shell polymers and microgels, is distinguished by having high storage stability and gives polymers having high heat stability, toughness and mechanical strength, which polymers are suitable as encapsulating material for electrical and electronic components.

Une composition, comprenant a) une cyclooléfine sous contrainte, b) une charge et c) 0,01-10,0 % en poids, par rapport à la somme des constituants a) + b), d'un copolymère choisi parmi le groupe constitué de polymères noyau/enveloppe et de microgels, se distingue par le fait qu'elle possède une grande stabilité à l'entreposage et donne des polymères ayant une stabilité à la chaleur, une ténacité et une résistance mécanique élevées, lesquels polymères conviennent comme matière d'encapsulation pour les composantes électriques et électroniques.
