The invention relates to a method for machining crankshafts during which the machining of the bearing width and of the oil collar should be carried out simultaneously. To this end, a disk-shaped outer milling cutter having a number of cutting tools (10, 14) is used of which a portion serves to machine a bearing base of the crankshaft and the other portion serves to machine an oil collar adjacent to the bearing base. According to the invention, a set angle (.kappa.) for the cutting tools for machining the oil collar is selected according to the actual dimension, during which the effective depth of cut h max for each cutting insert is limited to a predeterminable maximum value. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'usinage de vilebrequins par enlèvement de copeaux, l'usinage de la largeur de palier et du collet de vilebrequin devant être exécuté simultanément et une fraise extérieure en forme de disque à plusieurs outils coupants (10, 14) étant utilisée à cet effet, une partie desdits outils servant à usiner une base de palier du vilebrequin et l'autre partie servant à usiner un collet de vilebrequin adjacent à la base de palier. Selon la présente invention, un angle d'attaque (?) pour les outils coupants destinés à usiner le collet de vilebrequin est sélectionné en fonction de la surépaisseur effective, la profondeur de coupe effective h<SUB>max </SUB>pour chaque plaquette de coupe étant limitée à une valeur maximale prescrite. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif permettant la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé.
