A method for controlling access to a plurality of computing resources in a distributed computing environment can comprise the steps of: an application role server, responsive to receiving a certificate request, authenticating the requestor and issuing a digital certificate to the requestor; an access control node, responsive to receiving a resource access request, granting access to the computing resource to the requestor upon ascertaining the requestor's access privileges, or forwarding the resource access request to another access control node.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour contrôler l'accès à une pluralité de ressources informatiques dans un environnement informatique distribué, qui peut passer par les étapes suivantes : - un serveur de rôle d'application, en réponse à la réception d'une demande de certificat, authentifie le demandeur et émet un certificat numérique pour le demandeur, - un nud de contrôle d'accès, en réponse à la réception d'une demande d'accès aux ressources, accorde l'accès à la ressource informatique au demandeur après avoir évalué les privilèges d'accès du demandeur ou transfère la demande d'accès aux ressources à un autre nud de contrôle d'accès.
