There is provided a system and apparatus for removing debris from a vehicle including its wheels, the apparatus having an elongated tank with opposed side walls and a bottom, and having an entrance ramp and an inclined vehicle exit ramp which are joined to a centrally located trough. The trough has a multiplicity of impediments spaced transversely so that as a vehicle passes through the trough, the contact of the tires of the vehicle with the impediments loosens debris adhered to the vehicle as washing fluid is impelled theretowards. The system may also include a debris separating portion.
