A method and an apparatus for heat-treatment of materials, preferably metals, are provided. The method comprises the following steps: providing and maintaining a flame by supplying a burner with fuel and gas containing at least 80 percent by volume oxygen; creating an oxygen-hot exhaust mixture by recirculating exhausts from the flame to the gas containing oxygen by means of an ejector effect; mixing the oxygen-exhaust mixture and the fuel; and providing a secondary recirculation by recirculating exhausts from the flame to the oxygen-exhaust-fuel mixture. The method and apparatus allow for extremely low NOx emissions and high efficiency, resulting in an environmentally friendly and at the same time cost effective process.
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de traitement thermique de matières, de préférence des métaux. Le procédé consiste à allumer et maintenir une flamme grâce à l'utilisation d'un brûleur de carburant et gaz contenant au moins 80 % en volume d'oxygène ; à créer un mélange de gaz de combustion chaud/d'oxygène par la recirculation des effluents gazeux provenant de la flamme en direction de l'oxygène contenant le gaz au moyen d'un effet d'éjection ; à mélanger le mélange de gaz de combustion/oxygène et le carburant ; et à assurer une recirculation secondaire par la recirculation d'effluents gazeux provenant de flamme en direction du mélange de carburant-de gaz d'échappement-d'oxygène. Le procédé et l'appareil garantissent des émissions d'oxyde d'azote extrêmement faibles et une efficacité élevée, ce qui se traduit par un procédé respectueux de l'environnement et à la fois peu coûteux.
