A method of topical scar treatment or prophylaxis using a medical applicator and/or packaging device for the topical application of a fluid gel topical scar therapy agent characterised in that the agent comprises a composition comprising 1-25 wt% of a silicone gum, 1-40 wt% of a silicone fluid having a viscosity of 10 to 60,000 mm2/sec, 1-35 wt% of a silicone wax and 1-90 wt% of a volatile silicone fluid having a viscosity up to and including 5 mm2/s at 25 ~C, and the medical applicator and/or packaging device for the topical application of a fluid gel topical scar therapy agent.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement topique ou prophylactique faisant appel à un applicateur médical et/ou un dispositif formant réservoir pour l'application topique d'un agent thérapeutique sous forme de gel fluide. L'invention se caractérise en ce que l'agent comprend une composition entre 1 et 25 % en poids d'une gomme de silicone, 1 à 40 % en poids d'un fluide de silicone avec une viscosité comprise entre 10 et 60000 mm2/sec, 1 à 35 % en poids d'une cire de silicone et 1 à 90 % en poids d'un fluide de silicone volatile avec une viscosité pouvant atteindre 5 mm?2¿/s à 25 ·C. L'invention traite également d'un applicateur médical et/ou un dispositif formant réservoir pour l'application topique d'un agent thérapeutique formant gel fluide.
