This invention relates to electronic communications technology. A telephone network for structured items of the business office type comprises a local computer network linking computers at the transmitting and receiving ends of the system through network adapters, and also telephone sets. The telephone network is provided with a computer telephony server connected to the local computer network and to the general local telephone network. Each telephone set is connected directly to the local computer network. Connection is made through a telephone adapter and a network adapter connected in series with it. The telephone adapter is capable of converting analog/digital signals adapted to the clock frequency of the local network, user call signals into the addresses of other telephone adapters connected to the local computer networks, and hang-up signals. To establish communication between remote sites having identical telephone networks, the local computer network of each site is provided, in the channel of the external computer network, with a router connected through said channel to routers in other local networks 4 drawings.
Cette invention se rapporte au domaine des communications électroniques, et concerne un réseau téléphonique pour objet structuré de type bureau, qui comprend un réseau informatique local reliant des ordinateurs sur le côté émission et réception du système par le biais d'adaptateurs de réseau, ainsi que des appareils téléphoniques. Ce réseau téléphonique comprend également un serveur de téléphonie informatique qui est relié au réseau informatique local ainsi qu'à un réseau téléphonique à vocation générale. Chaque appareil téléphonique est relié directement au réseau informatique local. La connexion se fait par le biais d'un adaptateur téléphonique et d'un adaptateur de réseau connecté en série à ce dernier. L'adaptateur téléphonique est doté de fonctions de conversion de signaux analogiques/numériques adaptés à la fréquence d'horloge du réseau local, de signaux d'appel d'abonnés aux adresses d'autres adaptateurs téléphoniques connectés à ce réseau informatique local, et de signaux de libération. En ce qui concerne la connexion d'objets situés à distance et comprenant des réseaux téléphoniques analogiques, le réseau informatique local de chaque objet est équipé d'un routeur par le biais d'un canal de réseau informatique externe, lequel routeur va se connecter par ledit canal aux routeurs d'autres réseaux locaux.
