The invention relates to a roof frame arrangement (8) for motor vehicles, comprising a front, a rear (9) and two lateral roof frames (10) and a support device for a motor vehicle rear hatchback door, with a hatchback hinge (24, 44) and at least one gas-pressure spring (21, 22, 47), whereby at least the lateral roof frames (10) comprise an inner shell (12) and a outer shell (11) connected thereto, forming a cavity between the inner shell (12) and the outer shell (11). According to the invention, a roof frame arrangement with increased stiffness may be disclosed, which can be produced in a simple space- saving manner with as few manufacturing tolerances as possible and where no greater sealing requirement is needed, whereby a rear end region of the lateral roof frame is embodied as a one-piece peripherally sealed hollow profile (14, 36, 51), enclosing the cavity and forming a housing, in which the hinge (24, 44, 50) and/or the gas-pressure spring (21, 22, 47) is arranged.

L'invention concerne un ensemble baie (8) pour véhicules automobiles, comprenant une baie avant, une baie arrière (9) et deux baies latérales (10) ainsi qu'un dispositif support pour un hayon de véhicule automobile, ledit hayon comportant une charnière (24, 44) et au moins un ressort à pression de gaz (21, 22, 47). Au moins la baie latérale (10) présente une paroi intérieure (12) et une paroi extérieure (11), reliée à la paroi intérieure, paroi entre lesquelles est formé une cavité. L'objectif de cette invention est de présenter un ensemble baie d'une rigidité accrue, pouvant être fabriqué de manière simple avec un faible encombrement, le moins de tolérances de fabrication possible, et ne nécessitant pas une étanchéité accrue. A cet effet, une zone d'angle arrière de la baie latérale est conçue sous la forme d'un profilé creux (14, 36, 51) en une pièce fermée au niveau de sa périphérie, lequel profilé entoure ladite cavité et forme un logement de réception dans lequel sont placés la charnière (24, 44, 50) et/ou le ressort à pression de gaz (21, 22, 47).
