METHOD FOR ATOMIZING FEEDSTOCK IN A FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING PROCESS (D#78,376-C1-F) ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method has been discovered for atomizing feedstock in a fluid catalytic cracking process. Feedstock is atomized by impingement of an atomizing gas such as steam from two sides in a three stream atomizer. The atomizer produces 100 micron droplets at 3 to 30 psi pressure drop.
