The present invention relates to the discovery and purification of a novel glycophospholipid that contains an antigenic determinant for human thyroid stimulating immunoglobulins (TSI's). Such glycophospholipid has utility as a reagent for immunological tests for Graves' disease as well as for further biological and chemical studies of Graves' disease.

Cette invention se rapporte à la découverte et à la purification d'un nouveau glycophospholipide qui contient un déterminant antigénique pour les immunoglobulines de stimulation de la thyroïde (TSI) humaines. Ce glycophospholipide est utile comme réactif dans des tests immunologiques pour la maladie de Basedow-Graves ainsi que dans des études biologiques et chimiques de cette maladie de Basedow-Graves.
