The present invention relates to a bale wrapping implement coupled for trailing a baler and constructed so as to minimize loads experienced by its frame during operation on uneven terrain. This is realized by constructing the wrapping implement so as to have a main frame including a first frame section having a forward end defined by a coupling, which allows the main frame to pivot vertically when coupled to the baler. A main support wheel, which is the only support for the wrapping implement that is in continuous ground contact, is mounted to a rear region of the first frame section, while an auxiliary support wheel is mounted to a second frame section carrying a bale-support structure, the auxiliary support wheel contacting the ground only when the second frame section is deflected downward by the weight of a bale discharged from the baler onto the bale-support structure.
