The present invention relates to a wound dressing. In accordance with the invention, the dressing (1) comprises a layer of absorbent foam material (2) which includes a pattern of holes (4). The holes open out on that side of the foam material which lies proximal to the wearer's skin when the dressing (1) is worn, and the layer of foam material is coated with a layer (3) of skin-adhering hydrophobic gel, wherein those end parts of the walls of the holes in the foam material that lie proximal to the wearer's skin when the dressing is worn are gel coated. The invention also relates to a method of producing such a dressing.
L'invention concerne un pansement (1) constitué d'une couche d'un matériau alvéolaire absorbant (2) qui comporte un motif de trous (4). Les trous s'ouvrent sur le côté du matériau alvéolaire situé contre la peau de l'utilisateur quand celui-ci porte le pansement (1), et la couche de matériau alvéolaire est revêtue d'une couche (3) de gel hydrophobe adhérant à la peau. Les extrémités des parois des trous creusés dans le matériau alvéolaire qui se trouvent contre la peau quand le pansement est collé sur cette dernière sont revêtues de gel. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de fabriquer des pansements de ce type.
