An information providing device and a retrieving device which can continuously provide a user with a message even when the user makes access to various sites over the world-wide web. The information providing device which transfers a first picture of the world-wide web to a terminal transmits the first picture to the terminal from the web by connecting a first logic line to the communication line between the terminal and providing device, transmits identification information to the retrieving device which receives identification information which identifies the user of the terminal from the terminal and stores the characteristics of the user and the transmitting condition of the message by connecting the retrieving device to the providing device by using a second communication line. Then the providing device reads out the message from a message database based on the message designating information retrieved by the retrieving device and transmits the message to the terminal by connecting a second logic line to the communication line.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de distribution d'informations et un dispositif d'extraction qui peuvent assurer à l'utilisateur la fourniture en continu d'un message même lorsque ledit utilisateur accède à divers sites du réseau mondial dit "Web". Le dispositif de distribution des informations qui transfert une première image du "Web" sur un terminal effectue la transmission de cette première image vers un terminal du "Web" en reliant une première ligne logique à la ligne de transmission existant entre le terminal et le dispositif de distribution, il transmet les informations d'identification au dispositif d'extraction qui reçoit ces informations d'identification identifiant l'utilisateur du terminal et il enregistre les caractéristiques de l'utilisateur ainsi que les conditions de transmission du message en reliant le dispositif d'extraction au dispositif de distribution au moyen d'une seconde ligne de transmission. Le dispositif de distribution délivre alors en sortie le message issu d'une base de données de messages en fonction des informations représentatives du message, extraites par le dispositif d'extraction et il transmet le message au terminal en reliant une seconde ligne logique à la ligne de transmission.
