A discharge apparatus (1 or 41) for media to be atomized in ultrafine form has a discharge nozzle (3) with a sponge-like medium receiver (10), into which issue on the one hand a functionally closed source unit (50) for the medium and on the other a conveying or delivery device (11) for compressed air, so that by control means (40) initially a drop of medium spreads out in capillary manner in the receiver (10), after which by random actuation an air pressure surge flows through the receiver (10) towards the medium outlet (4). The medium is dis- charged from the medium receiver (10) in an already finely divided state, whirled up and once again is finely atomized in the vicinity of an impact atomizer (30) until it passes into the open with a minimum droplet size of max. 2 µm.

Dispositif de décharge (1 ou 41) pour substances coulantes à pulvériser finement, présentant une buse de décharge (3) dotée d'un collecteur (10) de type spongieux, dans lequel débouchent, d'une part, une unité distributrice (50), fermée, autonome, distribuant la substance coulante, et, d'autre part, un dispositif d'alimentation en air comprimé (11), de telle façon que par l'intermédiaire de moyens de commande (40), une goutte de substance soit tout d'abord dispersée, par capillarité, dans le collecteur (10), après quoi, un actionnement fait que le collecteur (10) est parcouru, en direction de la sortie (4), par un brusque courant d'air comprimé. La substance coulante est alors entraînée à l'état déjà finement divisé, à l'extérieur du collecteur (10), soumis à un régime tourbillonnaire, et encore plus finement divisée dans la zone d'un pulvérisateur à impact (30), jusqu'à son expulsion à l'air libre, sous forme de gouttelettes excessivement fines de 2 mu m maximum.
