The reverse channel AISCH (R-AISCH) is multiplexed in a 1.25 ms slot within the reverse link control channel. In accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention the reverse pilot channel now contains PCSCH and Pilot symbols. These are spread with Wo to complete transmission of the channel.
