A screw-threaded connection incorporates dual syn- chronized threads (14,16, 18, 20), that is, one connection element has a set of external male threads (14) that mates with a corresponding set of internal female threads (16) on the mating connection element, in customary fashion. The first connection element additionally includes a second set of internal female threads (18) synchronized with the first set such that the leads of both sets of threads are the same. This second set of internal female threads (18) mates with a corresponding set of external male threads (20) on the mat- ing connection element. Of course, the two sets of threads on the mating connection element are synchronized such that their leads are the same, and, of course, the same as first sets of mating dual synchronized threads. La présente invention concerne un raccord à filetage de vis caractérisé par un filetage double synchronisé (14, 16, 18, 20). L'un des éléments de raccord comporte un filetage extérieur mâle (14) qui s'adapte normalement au filetage intérieur femelle (16) correspondant sur l'élément de raccord apparié. Le premier élément de raccord comporte en outre un second filetage intérieur femelle (18) synchronisé avec le premier, de façon que les débuts des deux filetages coïncident parfaitement. Ce second filetage intérieur femelle (18) s'adapte au filetage extérieur mâle (20) correspondant sur l'élément de raccord apparié. Evidemment, les deux filetages de l'élément de raccord apparié sont synchronisés entre eux, de façon que les débuts des deux filetages coïncident parfaitement. Ce type de raccord à double filetage synchronisé convient aux raccords pour fluides et notamment aux raccords pour fluides subissant des écarts thermiques de forte amplitude, des pressions élevés et/ou des conditions d'environnement mécanique difficiles.
