The present invention provides a process for making articles of manufacture, as well as the articles themselves, comprising thermoplastic nylon materials and thermoplastic polyurethane blends capable of adhering to the thermoplastic nylon materials, wherein the thermoplastic polyurethane blends comprise: a) 3 to 200 parts of a terpolymer of styreneta-methylstyrene/acrylonitrile/C1-C6 alkyl acrylate with a glass transition temperature(Tg) below 0°C; b) 100 parts of a thermoplastic polyurethane produced from a diisocyanate, a C2-C10 diol, and a polyether and/or polyester-based polyol; and c) 0 to 50 parts of various additives including lubricants, pigments, stabilizers, etc. The articles of manufacture may be configured as power tool housings, luggage handles, gear shifts, automotive pedals, etc.
