A roll on/off disposable grip is disclosed. The invention provides a way to easily place a new grip on equipment at any time, through the use of an easily installed and removed sheath, which forms a thin surface or outer skin on the equipment's gripping element. The invention can be used generally for all equipment that requires a quality grip. One example is that of the game of golf; however other applications are claimed.
