T 1436 A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR INCREASING THE STEREOREGULARITY OF A POLYMER MIXTURE Process for increasing the stereoregularity of a syndiotactic or isotactic polymer mixture in which the average stereoregularity of a syndiotactic or isotactic mixture of linear alternating copolymers of carbon monoxide with a monomer of the general formula CH2-CH-R, wherein R represents an optionally polarly substituted hydrocarbyl group, which copolymers differ from one another in stereoregularity, is increased by treating the copolymer mixture with a solvent in which the copolymers display a higher degree of solubility according as their stereoregularity is lower.
