A unit element forming a membrane comprising a semi-permeable material able to separate in two compartments a filtration device for extracorporeal treatment of fluid. The material is negatively charged and the element has a first internal face for direct contact with fluid under treatment and a second external face for contact with filtrate. The second face has a surface treated by a substance comprising at least a cationic polymer, or by a mixture of polymers of which at least one polymer is cationic. The unit element can also have a first face treated as the second face. The invention refers also to a semipermeable membrane comprising the unit elements, and to a filtration device comprising two compartments separated by such a semipermeable membrane, as well as to processes for manufacturing above components and devices.

L'invention concerne un élément unitaire formant une membrane, laquelle est constituée d'un matériau semi-perméable et permet de séparer en deux compartiments un dispositif de filtration destiné au traitement extracorporel d'un fluide. Ce matériau est chargé négativement et l'élément présente une première face interne destinée au contact direct avec le fluide en cours de traitement et une deuxième face externe destinée au contact avec le filtrat. La deuxième face possède une surface traitée par une substance contenant au moins un polymère cationique, ou bien par un mélange de polymères dont au moins un est cationique. L'élément unitaire peut également posséder une première face traitée comme la deuxième face. L'invention concerne également une membrane semi-perméable comportant les éléments unitaires, et un dispositif de filtration comprenant deux compartiments séparés par une telle membrane semi-perméable, ainsi que des procédés pour fabriquer les éléments et les dispositifs précités.
