A method of gasifying large molecular weight organic materials (carbonaceous materials such as coal, shredded waste tire or waste oil into gaseous fuel, carbon monoxide and hydrogen, and an apparatus therefore are provided. The method comprises the steps of supplying initial fuel gas and oxygen into a gasification reactor to produce water and carbon dioxide, supplying the organic materials into the reactor and reacting them with the water and carbon dioxide to produce carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas, dishcharging the carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas from the reactor, recycling a part of the carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas dishcarged from the reactor into the reactor, and reacting the carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas supplied into the reactor with oxygen to produce water and carbon dioxide. The method facilitates the control of temperature in the gasification reactor as well as produces fuel gas of high quality by increasing the concentration of hydrogen.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de gazéification de matières organiques de poids moléculaire élevé (matières carbonées), telles que du charbon, des pneus usés déchiquetés ou de l'huile usagée, en combustible gazeux, monoxyde de carbone et hydrogène. Ledit procédé consiste à alimenter un réacteur de gazéification en oxygène et gaz combustible initial pour produire de l'eau et du dioxyde de carbone, à alimenter le réacteur en matières organiques et à faire réagir ces matières avec l'eau et le dioxyde de carbone pour produire du monoxyde de carbone et du gaz hydrogène, à évacuer le monoxyde de carbone et le gaz hydrogène du réacteur, à recycler une partie du monoxyde de carbone et du gaz hydrogène évacués du réacteur dans le réacteur et à faire réagir le monoxyde de carbone et le gaz hydrogène introduits dans le réacteur avec de l'oxygène afin de produire de l'eau et du dioxyde de carbone. Ce procédé facilite la commande de température dans le réacteur de gazéification et permet la production de gaz combustible de haute qualité par l'augmentation de la concentration en hydrogène.
