Disclosed is a lid stay, especially for pieces of furniture, comprising a first arm (1) and a second arm (2) which are connected to each other so as to be pivotable about a swivel pin (3) between an open position and a closed position, a convex positioning contour (4) that is disposed on the first arm (1), extends around a central axis (5) located parallel to the swivel pin (3), and has the shape of a circular arc when viewed from a cross-section running perpendicular to the central axis (5), a positioning slide (8) which is movably guided along a positioning axis (9) by means of the first arm (1), is provided with a flat support area (12) facing the positioning contour (4), and is spring-biased in the direction of the positioning contour (4), and a sliding block (13), a concave first sliding surface (14) of which slidably leans on the positioning contour (4) while a flat second sliding surface (15) thereof slidably leans on the support area (12). The first sliding surface (14) extends around the central axis (5) in the shape of a circular arc and has the same curvature as the positioning contour (4).

L'invention concerne un compas pour porte relevante, en particulier de meuble, lequel compas présente une première branche (1) et une seconde branche (2), reliées l'une à l'autre de façon à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un axe de pivotement (3) entre une position d'ouverture et une position de fermeture, un contour de réglage convexe (4) formé sur la première branche (1), ledit contour s'étendant autour d'un axe médian (5) placé parallèlement à l'axe de pivotement (3) et étant formé en arc de cercle vu en coupe perpendiculaire à l'axe médian (5), un coulisseau de réglage (8) guidé au moyen de la première branche (1) de façon à pouvoir coulisser le long d'un axe de réglage (9), ledit coulisseau présentant une surface d'appui plane (12) orientée vers le contour de réglage (4) et étant commandé par ressort en direction du contour de réglage (4), ainsi qu'un patin de glissement (13), dont une première surface de glissement concave (14) est en contact de glissement avec le contour de réglage (4) et dont une seconde surface de glissement plane (15) est en contact de glissement avec la surface d'appui (12), la première surface de glissement (14) s'étendant en arc de cercle autour de l'axe médian (5) et présentant la même courbure que le contour de réglage (4).
