ABSTRACT A compartmentalized container of rectangular-like shape consisting of a lower and upper portion each of which contains at least one compartment for receiving material such as refuse. The upper and lower compartments are accessed by operation of pedals operating on the top lid of the container and the lower front panel of the container respectively. This allows hands-free use of all the compartments for segregating refuse into reusable or recyclable components, such as bottles, paper, or cans. The container is designed to use surplus grocery and shopping bags in addition to normal garbage bags in the containment and disposal process.
