A mobile unit communication apparatus according to the present invention has an adaptive antenna having a plurality of antenna elements, for controlling the weighting on the antenna elements thereby to radiate beams that are adapted to radio wave environments, a position estimator for estimating the position of a mobile unit, a beam combiner for weighting signals received from the mobile unit by the antenna elements and combining beams, and a weighting coefficient generator for correcting weighting coefficients adapted to radio wave environments, which give initial weights as weights to form nulls in bearings other than the mobile unit based on the position of the mobile unit which has been estimated by the position estimator, for thereby reducing a time required for convergence.
L'invention concerne un système d'abonné optique comprenant une antenne adaptative munie d'éléments d'antenne et pouvant émettre un faisceau adapté à un environnement hertzien par réglage de la pondération de chaque élément d'antenne, un estimateur destiné à estimer la position d'un objet mobile, un multiplexeur de faisceau destiné à multiplexer le faisceau pendant la pondération de signaux en provenance de l'objet mobile reçus par les éléments d'antenne, ainsi qu'un générateur de facteur de pondération permettant d'attribuer une pondération initiale à l'azimut autre que celui de l'objet mobile sous la forme d'une pondération destinée à produire un champ vide sur la base de la position de l'objet mobile estimée par l'estimateur de position, et de corriger le facteur de pondération adapté à l'environnement hertzien, d'où une réduction de la durée d'attente jusqu'à la convergence.
