A power supply control circuit is responsive to a control signal for intermittently supplying voltage from a built-in battery to a frequency synthesizer so as to prevent charge depletion of the built-in battery. In order that a charge on a capacitor of an active LPF, inserted between the built-in battery and the frequency synthesizer to constitute the power supply control circuit, is not released toward the synthesizer side during suspension of voltage supply to the synthesizer, a switching means responsive to the control signal is added. This power supply control circuit advances the rise of the supply voltage, and accordingly the stabilization of the output frequency of the synthesizer, on resumption of the voltage supply.
