A stripper rubber insert comprises a central bore and a plurality of retention member bores substantially perpendicular to the central bore. The retention member bores are angularly spaced apart around a perimeter of the stripper rubber insert. Each one of the retention member bores extends through an exterior insert edge face and an interior insert edge face. Each one of the retention member bores includes a respective retention member securing structure therein.

La présente invention concerne un insert en caoutchouc de presse-étoupe qui comporte un alésage central et plusieurs alésages d'élément de rétention sensiblement perpendiculaires à l'alésage central. Les alésages d'élément de rétention sont espacés sur le plan angulaire autour d'un périmètre de l'insert en caoutchouc de presse-étoupe. Chacun des alésages d'élément de rétention s'étend à travers une face de bord d'insertion extérieure et une face de bord d'insertion intérieure. Chacun des alésages d'élément de rétention comporte, à l'intérieur, une structure de fixation d'élément de rétention respectif.
