In PVC polymer formulations for sheathing for electric wires and cables, it has been determined that antimony trioxide and divalent metal (e.g. zinc) stannate or hydroxystannate can provide a synergistic flame-retardant additive combination. In this invention, polymer formulations using this flame-retardant additive combination contain not more than 1.5 wt% of antimony trioxide.
Dans le cadre des formulations polymères PVC utilisées pour gainer les fils et les câbles électriques, il a été démontré que le trioxyde d'antimoine et le stannate ou l'hydroxystannate de métal divalent (par exemple de zinc) pouvaient former une association d'additifs ignifuges synergiques.
