Method and apparatus (10) for molding and assembling a composite part assembly (17) in, for example, aplastic injection-molding machine. Complementary mold portions (47, 67) associated with a mold plate (29) and rotatable turret (25) form plural parts (e.g., 11, 13, 15). Assembly apparatus (123) associated with the turret (25) assembles the plural parts 11, 13, 15) into an assembly (17). A further turret (27) may be provided to add a complementary part to (19) the assembly to make a final assembly (21). The method includes manufacture of composite part assemblies (17) and final assemblies (21).
