A method for reducing the toxicity of onium compounds, such as ammonium compounds and phosphonium compounds, by the addition of an anionic polymer is described. Suitable anionic polymers include, but are not necessarily limited to, polycarboxylic acids, polysulfonic acids, polyphosphoric acids, polyphosphonic acids, and mixtures thereof.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de diminuer la toxicité de composés d'onium, tels que des composés d'ammonium et de phosphonium, par addition d'un polymère anionique. Des polymères anioniques appropriés renferment, entre autres, des acides polycarboxyliques, des acides polysulfoniques, des acides polyphosphoriques, des acides polyphosphoniques et des mélanges correspondants.
