When manufacturing a foil-wrapped breast prosthesis with a filling consisting of a curable compound, the curing is performed after placing a filled prosthesis bag, formed by contour welding of two joined foil sheets, in a mould cavity (6) without closing the mould cavity and maintaining vacuum at least in the beginning of the curing, whereby especially an increased degree of freedom is obtained with respect to shaping the rear side of the prosthesis, so that this, among other things, can be provided with thin edge parts for obtaining good fitting to the body. To ease the mounting of the bag and the accurate positioning of this in the mould cavity (6), the latter is formed in a first mould part (5) of a shaping tool, which furthermore comprises a tightening frame (10) having a packing (12), which provides an unambiguously oriented tightening of the bag when this is placed in the mould cavity (6).
Lors de la fabrication d'une prothèse de sein enveloppée dans une feuille contenant une garniture de remplissage constituée par un composé durcissable, on effectue le durcissement après avoir placé un sac de prothèse rempli, réalisé par la soudure des bords de deux feuilles réunies, dans une cavité de moule (6) sans fermer cette dernière; on maintient le vide au moins au commencement du durcissement, ce qui permet d'obtenir un degré de liberté accru par rapport au façonnage du côté arrière de la prothèse, afin que celle-ci, entre autres, présente des régions de bord minces, de façon à s'adapter correctement au corps. Afin de faciliter le montage du sac et son positionnement précis dans la cavité de moule (6), cette dernière est composée d'une première partie de moulage (5) d'un outil de façonnage comportant, de plus, un cadre de serrage (10) pourvu d'un rembourrage (12), ce qui permet de réaliser un serrage équilibré du sac quand on le place dans la cavité de moule (6).
