ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a portable stove comprising a plurality of heat-resistant panels, the panels being articulatably attachable to each other to form an enclosure having side walls delimiting a space into which combustible material can be placed, and being foldable or dismantable for storage, the upper edges of the side panels constituting means for at least indirectly supporting a cooking utensil and delimiting a cooking area, air entry ports being provided in or adjacent to lower portions of the side walls, and the side panels being oriented to direct substantially all of the heated draft and flames resulting from the combustion of the combustible material towards the cooking area.
